Default Misplaced lifter?

I just bought a '89 Prelude and the previous owner said it had a misplaced lifter from him dropping the head while trying to change the head gasket. How bad is this and how can I fix this?

Also, what are some interchangeable springs/coilovers that's cheap? I've looked online, but the drop springs for this gen are pretty pricey.

If he dropped the head I would go ahead and assume that the head casting is now going to be weak or compromised. A complete reman head for that vehicle would probably be a lot easier than dealing with the valvetrain issues that are sure to come up

The guy drove it almost 50 miles to my house and it runs fine. I heard letting it idle at 1500 rpm for a while will reset it. Does that work though?

Applying pressure in the right place will give you some play
to scoot that lifter back in place......if it is true that dropping could
allow it to shift.

Can you post us a pic?.....my answers get better when I see/understand
what a person is asking.-Bob

I'm not sure what to take a pic of lol I don't know too much about engines. I'll just take a pic of everything. It shifts fine, but I wish the guy put gas in the car when we traded cars. He came to my house with the thing on E.
