Default few simple yes or no questions b series

i just dropped a ls into my 90 civic dx. motor has no altenator. or shift linkage. can i use a d series altenator? what about the shift linkage?

Use an alternator for the motor thats in the car.......shift linkage appropriate for whatever tranny you have.

no and ghetto yes

d series linkage can be welded to fit.

but it is very unlikey you will weld it in the right spot.
and will shift like crap

just get some ha-sport linkage, it is shortened correctly and will give you a great shift
