Default Idle dies when brakes are applied

Im a pro-trike builder and have one useing the entire front clip from a 94 Accord f22 A lot of stuff has been removed ,, most of the vacuum stuff ..EGR and the brake switch wiring.. (I use my own brake lite system)

When I hit the brakes at idle the engine dies.. The check valve seems to be working well and holds the vacuum like it supposted to. I dont have the problem when it is cold and I was thinking of bypassing the coolent going to the idle valve..

Any suggestions?

I agree it is a vacuum leak.
Check the vac hoses related to the brake booster. If it has a leak, it's dumping
engine vacuum when the brakes come on.

Check to see if all, all...........wires are removed from the stock brake light switch. -Bob

Oh, yeah..Im sure the brake switch wireing is not connected to the switch..Iv removed a LOT of wireing and am finding the wireing system pretty easy to work with.
. In a Honda-Pro motorcycle tech (as well as others) and a career VW tech.. Now retired and enjoying my passions..

I started this project with a Camero.. but the VERY stupid GM manufatureing techniques just about kicked my ass in the heat and humity of last summer... So I desided to go with a FWDonor Honda drive train... SO much easier to work on.. and almost no cuss words...LOL

I let the trike sit for awhile and pulled off the booster hose and got a huge sucking of air from it,, so it seems to be holding vacuum and not leaking down.. A very slow leak most likely would not coase the idle to die..

Iv upped the idle with the bypass screw.. but havent been able to test it yet, as I have it apart again with more welding and stuff...

Ill keep you posted on the results..
