Question FPR symtoms

#1. Needle on the gauge jumps around.#2. I have an inline fuel filter.#3. The fuel flows back to the tank when shut off#4. Car is real ruff when idleing or at low RPM#5. Stock fuel pump sounds like a walbro I have had the car for like 2 years and it has alwaysRun ruff. I know the FPR must be the culprit. But are all The things I listed symptoms of a faulty FPR?

I know what you are saying about the alternator but its not that. Everything spins freeBS, ALT. Just rebuilt the motor and it was doing the same thing before. So it has to besomething reused. Dist.wires.FPR, NEW fuel pump. IACV AND FATV are blocked off.Is that a reason that could cause such bad vibration? Anyone still on this site?

You should change all those with new parts anyways after a rebuild and when you say blocked off do you mean you have no lines and nothing running through? If that's the case yes it could cause rough idle or surging idles. Lines for the IACV cost about $5 and take maybe 10 minutes to install, you should clean it while you are doing this too. Your jumping tach needle could be a bad ICM in the dizzy, they cost about $50 and autozone can test your old one but like i said you might want to just get some new parts anyways.
