We have hondas use metric damnit.
81.25mm would be good for stock sleeves, 81.5 mm might be taking a little too much out of the sleeve on an fi motor

hartman, do you have a head for it already? if not i have a spare ls head with full valvetrain you can get for chep.

I don't know the max an ls rod can handle. If you wanted to use your stock rods the least I'd do is:

shotpeen the rods $40
arp rod bolts $50
resize rods (needed when installing new rod bolts) $40

that is $130 right there and then compare that to about $350 for a set of Eagle rods that can easily handle 15psi.

The choice is yours.
