electric load detector
I'm not an asshole so if this is double posting,I'm sorry. My car is runnig now but the idle fluctuates between 1500 & 2000 RPM. I'm still geting code 20(electric load detector)
I got p30 obd1 ECU, OBD0-OBD1 adapter, 1990 integra RS and 2nd gen b16a. Pin# d10 on the OBD1(ECU) side(which is electric load detector) is going to b19(P/S oil pressure switch) on the OBD0(car)side. I'm tired.I need help... Thanks and sorry for the double posting thing.

ELD is a sensor for automatic transmissions. your ecu is for an automatic tranny. you need a manual tranny ECU

ELD was/is standard on all later gen engines due to idle fluctuations resulting from electrical loads such as headlights, power windows, etc.
I'm also getting code 19(Automatic Transmission Lock Up Control Solenoid Valve ) Is it posible for a manual transmission ECU to give that code due to wrong wiring? I bout it from e-bay and it was suppose to be manual.Tomorow I going to try my friend's p72 OBD1 100%manual.

I'm stuck & going buck. hmm... i really don't know what else to do. i will get a manual ecu in about a week. and check with that, but i'm sure that the code will come up again, since it came up with the p72. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!! guys, i'm all out of ideas. this is my second swap, first one was my friends gsr into an ek. obd1 into an obd2 car. we thought that was tough, hahahaha. this is rediculous. please let me know if you have any ideas about what i should do. thanks.

Battery got juce. I have two alternators. One that came with the motor(b16a sir2),and the other is off my original motor(b18a).I need to get ELD signal to the ECU(p30,pin# D10).My car's wire harness does not have it (OBD0 pr4 does not have pinout for ELD).
I know that younger honda/acura cars got the ELD under the engine bay's fuse box. It has 3 wires:battery, ground and signal.I was thinking to get this fuse box(or just the ELD) and wire it in(only 3 wires!)
Mr Self Destruct can you tell me more about the ELD on alternator? Can I get the signal out of it for ECU? Thanks.

Get a jdm p30 ecu it won't look for eld.

I got JDM p30. They both look for ELD (pin#d10)and so dos p72. I think OBD1 and 2 ECUs look for it. My original pr4 obd0 did't
Tuesday I'm going to junk yards to look for OBD1 under hood fuse box(I have to get the hole thing,ELD is integrated into it but we'll see if i can cut it out
