like it is my 96 sputters what is it idk i hopeing to have some help. new spark plugs wires and dizzy looking into the 02 sensor but it is not throwing a cel. new fuel filter and fuel pump also checked injectors and they r fine ignition maybe?

when i drive it loses rpm and if i am tryin to make it go i just hear a back fire a couple of time then picks up again sometimes it does it all day sometimes it can go days without doing it.

swap is coming after the 1st of the yr that my final resort but for now i just want it to run right.

 

Check inside the dizzy , faulty connections will cause this .

 

already checked all that put new rotor and cap checked all the connections i found the problem i was reading a forum that a 02 sensor will go bad and not throw a cel i disconnected it no more problem reconnected it and it started doing it again.

 

could be your ignitor or coil too. does your tach bounce around?
