Default help d15b 3stage vtec more hp

I have the d15b with the dual vtec on the head in my crx si. Its got 78mi on it scared to turbo. I have the motor running now perfectly, but obd0. I want the vtec, and more power. I was wanting 150. So just 20 more i want to know best obd to use, what ecu also. i have the obd2 ecu that came with it but i have a p28 ecu dizzy and intake if i wanted obd1 it, but would obd1 run the vtec correctly. And i was thinking about a skunk2 intake throttle body and hondata intake gasket would it be worth it im gonna take it to get tuned also if i do that. lol or should i just leave it the way it is. i got headers exhaust cam gears just stupid bolt ons that have virtually no hp effect.

[QUOTE=LShatch98;8975327]this post is confusing.[/QUOTE. Srry I typed it with my phone I was kinda in a rush basically I got a crx si with the d15b but the one with two Vtec cylinoids. It runs fin now but i left it obd0 so I can't use vtec I was wanting to know if I hooked it up obd1 would the Vtec pop right since its obd2 and how I could get it around 150 hp NA not FI cause it has 80,000 Mi on it. Don't wanna blow it.

Why would you go obd2? Convert it 2 obd1 if u want...and a crx si should have vtec wires in the harness (correct me if I'm wrong) if not wiring vtec to your ecu is fairly easy....what ecu are u running? ....80k is nuthing you can boost your car specially if its healthy as u say..as far as upgrades for your motor (aftermarket manifold, headers, bigger cam, high compression pistons, etc etc....pm me for any questions....

Leave it alone
Boosting a stock motor is like putting a silk hat on a pig...
I bet you could fit a B series vtec motor in that Crx Si....I think it will fit right in

LOL I only got that cause my boy had it for years with no prob or I would of got a h or k but the little d ran great was gonna make it reliable for a dd but i got a new truck and wanted the crx for a fun car boost you don't think I should hook up the Vtec or Ur just saying its pointless to fix a d I want it to move a little bit but I've heard z6 and y8 internals don't fit

Don't mean to Hate on the D series at all. Just don't boost a stock motor.
If you want to know how to wire it up or anything Vtec related you need to go to the Temple.
The Temple of VTEC - Honda and Acura Enthusiasts Online
You will need to login
You are looking for a fun car, drop a B series vtec in it. wire Obd1 and use your p28. Now you will have a fun car because of your light weight.

yeah best bet convert it to obd1 chip the p28 & honestly you can boost it safely @ like 8-10lbs & make roughly 200whp.
Or throw a 50 shot & tune on it

hahahahahaah

@57stepside...just run a p28 and wire up the vtec. a d15b with an si tranny in a crx that runs properly is a good dd. the sohc vtec can be pretty quick to especially in such a light shell. Or like pops said a b series swap is so easy to do these days and is a good cantidate
