b18a1 HELP!!!!

Default b18a1 HELP!!!!

My swap it turns on and everything but it iddles high as hell I can't tell u exacly how hight cus my speedomiders ain't connected..and also wen I hit the gas it iddles a lil higher then it acts like it has a 2step ecu.the ecu is bliking red code 4 and 9 and I have no idea wat that means and I donr kno wat to do with these problems help tr

well code 4 is crank position sensor.
and 9 is cylinder 1 position sensor. which can be bad wiring from the distributor.
are you sure its not throwing code 14? cuz thats the iacv and that would cause the high idle.

No not 14 it blinks 4 then it stops and then it start to blink again 9 more times..and the wireing was done not to long ago by neal iidk if u kno who that is but idk wat can I do to fix this mess its my dd and I have a job to drive to everyday

Try to screw in the fitv the screws tend to loosen overtime...... That wuld cause ur high idle, also check vacuum hoses,clean out iacv...

I don't kno what any of this is this is my 1st time having this prob with any of my cars and it was my 1st swap aswell.pm me with contact num so I can get more info bout these vacs and screws

the fitv is gonna be on the bottom of the throttle body if its an obd1 swap. the iacv is on the back of the intake manifold. just take them off and clean with carb cleaner and see if it helps any.
then just recheck and make sure the other sensors are plugged right and have power getting to them

check that all your vacc ports are plugs or ran and not leaking

no 1 else thought about it...check ur map sensor...it might not be connected to the vac line.. seen that happen on another car and everyone was looking for a bigger problem. plug it in problem solved...if not id say its a vac line somewhere else
