How does that even happen? It's a plastic manifold, not a balloon. It will burst into a hundred pieces if you have a nitrous backfire but it's not going to swell. Plenty of guys run boost and/or nitrous on plastic manifolds.

ok well the reason for me thinking about nos is this guy in a 99 si wants to race for money and like everyone else i really dont wanna loose, is there anything i can do for some decent quick hp? i was thinkin bout just buy a turbo and run 6-7 psi on it for now

 

if ur lookin to jus get a quick amout of power for one race to win how much $ think about it the money u spend to make ur car "FAST" for that one race are the winning gonna be worth it and risk screwin shit up... stop worryin about whos faster itll jus cost u more money in the long run... trust me i went through 3 motors with that thought process its not worth it at all.... save up and do the k swap that u want forget about wut others wanna do and if there car is faster than urs cuz in reality no matter wut u do there will ALWAYS be somebody faster.... jus build somethin that ur gonna be happy with.. thats wut im doin and remember

It is said that you can run a shot up to 20 hp per cylinder safely, for the life of the engine. Colder plugs, timing, and a MUST is a WOT switch as stated above. Never run a kit without a timer/switch.

That being said, putting nitrous on a stock honda is like a fat chick with a boob job. What's the point?

 

doing anything to a single cam as far as im concerned at the end of the day is gunna be a waste of money
