Default Skunk2 tuner cams vs Skunk2 Pro 1s

Anyone has experimented with the Pros please post your experience. I've seen some guys who had there vtec set higher that usual with the Pro 1s. And yes I did a search but didn't find much info. Thx for the help.

It all depends on compression

I have pretty much the same setup but with crower stage 2s makes over 200 whp with supporting mods and has good low end torque but skunk 2 stage 3s or pro 1-2s will do good work with that setup also just will have a higher powerband...

I have experience with the Pro 1s and they sound awesome and give you good top end power (I made 180whp on a B16).... mid range sucked though. But mind you, it was on a B16 with 11:1 compression, so I did not have ls torque or as high of a compression as you do... IMO you should have a small shot to go along with your motor build to give you just that much more of a punch at low end - mid range. Like a 25-50 wet shot... Just my 2 cents.

Your compression will be above 13:1 with those pistons.

You really need to pay close attention to the piston to valve, valve to valve, and retainer to guide seal clearance when running any of the pro series cams. If you don't have the means to measure those stick with the tuner stage 2's they are much more of a drop in cam.
