my ecu is throwing code 3 which yeah i know its the map sensor,
but my question is the car runs amazing in all gears except 1st. when i stomp it in first gear around 3 grand my shit bucks hard and like wants to shut off. Its a jdm b16a with skunk 2 intake mani....

someone please help me out im trying to make this thing a beast.

ok i lied i just went back and checked the ecu now its flashing code 21 which is vtec ?
maybe just the wiring someone please let me know something any help out there........

wtf why would my shit be redlining at 7200 sometimes and then other times it will go to 8200....noone has a clue either or whats going on i cant figure this shit out. aggravated with it

no it an obd0 b16a vtec ecu and no chip that i know of im gunna go homw right now and check ?
you have yet to figure out what is wrong or what ?

try to find out why ur getting that code or trouble shooting is going to be harder
when was the last time u changed plugs/wires?

the wiring in the car was all just done..i bought it four nights ago. the code is the vtec solenoid but i took it off to see if it was clicking and yeah it works, but it not engaging when im driving.
Everyone is telling me to just get a jumper harness to make it obd1 but i believe it should work with the obd0 im not trying to get a new distributor and all. someone let me know what i gotta do ?

To fix Vtec problem remove solenoid and clean screen, see what happens..

took it off last night and cleaned it took for a spin and what you know redline at 7200 again...
