LS-t build up
me and ol todd have started to do a b18b turbo in my ej6
before we order all our stuff
any suggestions or sites to look at?
also a few questions
will a t25 fit a b series manifold for a t3-t3/4 flange?
what bore will i want with my pistons?
i want to get a gsr or a new si tranny
but todd says the ls will do fine and
i want the long gearing for a boosted engine
which hondata setup should i invest in?
what whp will i put out with full fuel mods done and
great air flow with a fmic @1/2 bar?? @bar??
what turbo should i invest in after the engine is up and running??
what block work should i get done?
who does that??
and what head work should i have done?
i say valves and retainers
any thing else i should look into to
or condiser
before i order everything?

Boosted LS
1. Don't bother with a t25, your motor will end up out flowing the turbo. Also, the t25 is VERY small. It will create a great amount of heat under boost. Go with a hybrid t3/t4b series.
2. Standard bore will do. If your going that far into the motor there is a LOT more stuff you'll want to upgrade.
3. Go with an ITR tranny, they've got standard LSD and all that fun stuff along with super short gears. GSR or B16a tranny will do. The LS is fine if you don't have the money.
4. I wasn't sure how much pressure you were talking about here, Im assuming 14psi and 7psi those are rounded-down numbers of .5 bar and 1 bar. [ 1 bar = ~250whp | .5 bar = ~200whp ] Your mileage may vary.
5.t3/t4 60-1 will make upwards of 400whp
6. Block work...? You don't have to get any done if you don't want to. Like John has said before, he's gotten something like 275whp out of a stock LS block.
7. You don't need any head work. I would however suggest a turbo cam, springs, retainers, and over sized valves. Keep them all from the same company if possible.
8. FUEL. For god sakes don't run lean. 440 RC injectors, and Hondata should be your absolute MAIN concern. I can't stress that enough.

With a GS-R tranny.....if you're cruising on the highway in 5th, you will be doing around 4k RPMs or so, and that's not good with turbo.....so if you stick with the GS-R, you'll wanna put the LS 5th gear synchro in it, so you'll cruise more around 3k. Or at least that's what I've come to understand.

and as far the tranny issues goes it all boils down to what your primary function for the car is going to be. street car, strictly track car or autocrosser. once you make your mind up then you can or have someone help you choose a tranny, or then again have a custom hybrid tranny made to your likings.
