93 teg fan cooked by headers?
has anyone had any problems of their radiator fan burning out after installing a *header*. i brought my car to a mechanic and he told me that the *header* cooked my radiator fan. he busted out with a digital thermometer and put it near the headers. He came out with temperatures ranging from 160 to 227 degrees.
right now im riding my car without a radiator fan. dont even know how i can without overheating. Does the other fan help on cooling the engine too or its just mainly for condenser?
If i do plan to get an aftermarket fan similar to the size and bolting pattern of my stock one, where can i get one for a really good price?
thank you guys.

i have a feeling that this thread will get LOCKDOWN.
anyway now im confused, my mechanic said that i only have the condenser fan running. but auto part place said that my working fan right now is the radiator fan. What is up with this people?
anyway, any teg people running an aftermarket fan? please let me know

ok.. because my mechanic told me the other way around... my A/C is working fine, and my car is not overheating. It stays below the middle.
facing the car, the fan that is broken is on the right side (the driver side, in front of the *header*), i have never seen this fan work, also if i try to spin it it makes this hissing/crackling noise.
thanks for the info cronic. btw, how is the car going? is it running right yet?
