Ok, so i have a question. My d15b7 is on its last leg. I have my tubo motor that is finished just waiting on the injectors and S300. I have a built D16z6 that is complete but it has Vitara pistons and Std. lengeth Eagle rods so the compression is REALLY low. if my motor goes out can/should I drop this motor in? How will it drive (or will it even drive)? Dont want to waste 100-200 bucks on a block to replace it when i can use the cash for the s300.

 

it will run. i just may not perform to its fullest.

 

Well let me clarify. So you think it will be ok to run NA with that low of compression? I believe it will be somewhere in the 7.5-7.7ish range. LOL thought for sure it would stall at every chance it would get.

 

the timing will have to be adjusted....bc think when you start your car and run it out of boost it still runs correct? you will just not have a full amount of power due to the compression.

 

it might just be me but that seems really low even for boost. but i dont know turbos so idk really
but ya the motor will run, just prolly be real sluggish
