its the same with 240sx's too though. I'm a 240 guy. But I don't own one because even non "car people" thought that everyone that drives a 240 must be a dipshit drifter kid.
I even say it. When people make general comments about "dumb honda kids" we're talking about the 95%, well.. more like 98% of the dipshits that own honda's. You know exactly who I'm talking about too.
The great thing is, the people who can truly understand what it means to be a "dumb honda kid" or a "dipshit drifter kid" understand that you don't have to drive a honda or a 240 to be one of those jackasses. It is a mind set. I've seen plenty of dumbass, dipshit, drifting, honda fucks go from busted civics to mustangs, corvettes, STI's, Audi's, etc etc etc. That doesn't mean they aren't still those same fuckheads they were before. I've met some dumbass honda kids that have never owned a honda before. Its a mind set. Pretty much the same as being a Ricer. Don't have to have an import to be a ricer. We have all seen the ricer porsche driver, or the ricer mustang's. Most ricers drive imports, but not all.
So while I understand where you're coming from with the whole getting lumped together thing, it isn't like that unless you have that mindset we are talking about.

very true, i can take all the jokes thrown out there cuz most of em are hilarious...but i know where i stand, i love em cuz they have been reliable, decently quick, easy to work on, and parts for them are everywhere....ill take the decently quick one back lmao...but no they are not bad when done right, but the ones who slap an intake on it an think they have a racecar are the ones who really tick me off.
