Default battery keeps dying,

I just rebuilt a 95 accord 2.2 non-vtec. when the car sits for a day or so, the battery totally drains. brand new battery alternator and distributor. we check each connection like the book says, but this is starting to piss me off. could the starter drain it.

stereo equip can drain but usually not that fast

bad cell in the battery maybe? bad connecting wire? have the battery tested if you haven't already. have the alt tested if you haven't already. i know they are new but nothing is ever perfect.

i take it since the battery is new you used a higher powered battery for your rebuild (honestly, i don't know if you needed to or not but just a thought)

those are just my ideas.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

Buy a cheap multi-meter. Hook it up to your battery........then start pulling fuses one at a time. As soon as you see the voltage jump up a little. Then what ever is routed to that fuse is a starting point for you to start checking. If nothing happens doing that. your problem is somewhere before it gets to the fuse box. You may have another fuse box under the hood also. If so, repeat that process there as well.
