Exclamation 91 Accord Wagon Rotor Over Hub Help

Ok so I am doing the rotor over hub swap on my wagon. As you may be aware the wagons have a bigger rotor size than the other Accords (281.7mm or 11.09 inches). I have been doing some research and what I have come up with is that I need the following (correct me if I am wrong please)

2 98-99 Acura 2.3 CL Hubs

2 90-98 Accord Front Wheel Bearings

2 93-96 Honda Prelude VTEC Rotors

And of course my brake pads.

The part that is confusing me is one of the guides i was reading said the the caliper bracket I have would make it not fit over the rotor correctly.

"2 matching calipers from any of these vehicles:
92-97 Honda Accord Wagon (single piston) 25T Bracket

CRUCIAL NOTE: When selecting a caliper set with brackets other than 23T you MUST replace the brackets with 23T from another caliper, otherwise the caliper will not fit properly over the rotor! "

My question is, if I get the rest of the parts needed will I also need to replace the caliper bracket or will it work since this is what was stock on my vehicle?

Thanks in advance for any help

Brian

Zim,
Looks like no one is willing to talk to you. Have you been acting like a butthead again?
....you don't have to answer that.

Without seeing your specific car....
As a general guideline, the stock caliper will clear a rotor edge of a certain diameter
when the caliper is bolted down.

A bigger diameter rotor will generally require a caliper that will be set a little further out
from the edge of the rotor. Otherwise the caliper will rest on the rotor edge before
the caliper bolts can be screwed in.

Rotor diameter differences are what I would be comparing versus caliper bolt location
in relation to rotor diameter differences.-Bob

Well I havn't been in here for awhile Bob, as for the bracket question, both rotors would be the same diameter as the prelude rotors and the rotors on my wagon (the accord wagons came with a larger diameter rotor to accommodate the larger weight of the vehicle) are both 11.9". My question is pertaining to offset of where the rotor actually sits from the spindle. Being as how I am wanting to swap from a rotor behind hub to a rotor over hub i am thinking that maybe the new hub/rotor assembly will stick out slightly further making the new bracket necessary. Looks like i will have to buy some junkyard brackets and test fit both set-ups.

Default Getting an Interchange

or maybe carry your parts to the junkyard and test them there.
At LKQ they will print an interchange upon entering, to give you
an idea of what brackets interchange with what cars..................
and what rotors interchange with what cars.
I save those slips and put them into my tech folder.....you never know
when you might want to know things.

or maybe check part numbers at the dealer or at the A-parts
store, to see if one has a different part number.-Bob
