Looking for shop/help: 1993 DA timing/head gasket
Looking for some help.
Car was a good daily driver until the head gasket went. Started blowing white smoke, and brought it to a shop. Paid the guy up front for parts and labor. He botched the job pretty bad and now the car doesn't run.
Supposedly he replaced the head gasket and the head is not warped, but the car won't start. Turns over but it appears that it needs to be timed.
Realistically, the head gasket job probably needs to be performed again, and the motor needs to be timed properly.
I don't feel like getting hosed again, as I'm already out of money quite a bit with this car, but it's my baby, so any help/recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time.
