nope everything is the same. cept internals. very good choice as far as modification. you will lose compression but gain tourqe. flows better for later on when you do more mods. my boy is runnin the same thing is his crix and that thing rides out on everything on the road. hasnt run it yet waiting for cams.
get a set of jdm itr pistons and you have 11.1 compression with a b16 head, use itr ove b16 pistons cause the itrs have thicker ringland's and won't crack as easily. b18 bottom 11.1 comp with b16 head and i/h/e in a crx is a raper

or just get aftermarket pistons, they are better than all that jdm shit. they are shinier too. JE or SRP's for he pistons. eagle rods and some arp rod bolts. you'll be straight. you might pay more or the same depending on where you get them but go to SS im sure jon could hook you up. right jon?
1.oem pistons serve there purpose depending on the setup people make great power with all oem parts.2.why get eagle rods ?that is such a waste unless you plan on having 220+ hp oem rods are fine ! as long as the are checked out first. use the damn jdm itr pistons.get some type r cams an valve train an you schould be happy, if you want bigger power say you go FI or wantt some seriuos cams which will require big comp for maxium power . then get all the goodies, forged piston, rods, ect.,bottom line for a street all motor car w\around 200whp(which in a crx will be hauling ass) you dont need rods or forged internals.
oh an a queston for all you stunna's sence when did a crx get called a crix ?? wtf is that did honda change the name ?am i that out of date ?or is that the new rice slang? just wondering i see that on this site only all the time an i just stoped beliving it was a type-o.

and ARP bolts are always a good thing to switch to when rebuilding a motor... they're what, $50?

-eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh- try again.
It looks like this is a mount question that turned internal... You *can* install it with the gsr pistons, although ITR would be very beneficial (and I have a set... hehe). Use OEM pistons, ITR/Skunk2 Valvesprings/retainers/cams and it will be VERY potent.
