Default QUESTION d16 head for boost..

If there would be one thing in the valvetrain to change being aftermarket for a turbo build which one would apply more over the other. The valve springs and ret. or the valves itself?!

Im already going with a decent cam but if i got to the point if i had a money grind which one would be better to change to withstand the boost more? any hel p is greatly appreciated.

What is your power goal on what kind of fuel?
What turbo/manifold/engine setup do you have planned?

Id be happy with 300, not using anything but 93. Eagle rods/vitara pistions, 57,63ar turbo. Around 16-18psi w/ good ole 450, 550 max but im not sure i will max out the dsm's. And log style manifold.

Heard numerous people with over 300 with stock head so was just wonderin.

Stock head would be fine for that application.

Iv heard that it would be as well, but my MAIN questions here is if i was to do anything to the valvetrain any single thing, like the valves, or valve sprigns, which would i get the better advantage from power and reliability wise.

You wouldn't gain power by changing the valves or valvetrain, you would only gain power by going to a different cam.

Wouldnt you need an upgraded valvetrain to rev higher or would it not matter because you would have already reached a peak power band by the stock z6 rev limiter? and what cam would make a good pwoer difference on a STOCK valvetrain.

...Was looking at the bisimoto

Correct

I wouldn't recommend any aftermarket cam on the stock valvetrain.
