Default Quick ECu question

my wifes 91 accord had some issues the other day, came to a stop, idled rough drove a few feet then died....upon inspection i find a spark plug wire unplugged from the distributor cap side (cause for the rough idle and sluggish drivability) take it home, find oil covered plugs and wire boot on the middle two plugs, new plugs, wires, cap and rotor and valve cover gasket car doesnt start, solid check engine light as soon as the key is in the run position, its getting fuel to the rail and im guessing injectors as i pulled the plugs and smelled gas but they werent "soaked in it"... car tries to start but no luck, new dizzy same thing....swapped ecus from an old one i had lying around, check engine issue gone starts if pedal floored rough through the low rpms then fine after....shut off, now this ECu has the same solid check engine light.

my question is, if the light stays on during the self check process, never going out, the main relay clicks pump primes, no codes can be retrived bad ecu????

hey flatrex, checked all my grounds cleaned them up, unplugged and cleaned connections added some dielectric grease...fired up with a solid cel, pulled the code 43, replaced the 20 yr old o2, fired up with a code 15, swapped dizzys with a new one, still code 15, swapped ecus cel gone car runs smooth lol...but the t stat ground was filthy so thanks for making me double check em!
