Hey TR, i just need some help here, when i left work, i turned my car on and drove to the light after that, it started sounding louder and deeper than it usual does, it runs the same just sounds different, i was thinking maybe water got into my motor??? It went thru a monsoon yesterday lol...help me out please

BTW I drive a 97 Prelude

 

If you got water int he motor you would know..... It would not start.

 

does it sound like a roaring noise?if so if could be your wheel bearing

or maybe the packing in your exhaust is freeing up.......my magnaflow did the same thing

 

You may have a semi-clogged Catalytic Converter.....had one do that on me.
