k24a2, but you want to build a motor right so you can really build any of the k motors, find a k24 block and find either a type s head or a k24a2 tsx head

if your going to boost it, a k24 w/ a k20 head is not the way to go, piston to valve clearence is not very good on that combination, that combo is more of an all motors setup(suppose to be like the ls-v but for k series) either a k20 or a k24 will work, the k24 is lower compression(k24-9.7:1/ k20a2-11.7:1 and a little bigger displacement and they make a little more tq because they come in a bigger car than the rsx, but either one will work, if you go with a k20 get the k20a2 or k20z1.

k series dont suck, there isnt a b series in the world that can match the power and torque that you can pull out of the k series motors, yes they are more expensive to build but when done properly they are crazy

stock k20a2 makes 200hp and 141ft/lb of tq

Some clearing up..

If you get the k24a1 Accord/Element motor you want to get a k20a2 RSX head
If you get the K24a2 TSX motor you don't need to swap the head (alot of people don't know this)

Since your going to build it and boosted anyways i would just make sure to get a K24 Block with whatever setup you get. You will have 2.4 liter of displacement which will help you spool up that turbo faster and you will handout spanking's like hotcakes.

Don't go with the K24z2 its shy a few HP compared to the K24a2 and k20a2. You have to decide whether you want to go boost or all motor for your tranny choice. For all motor get the RSX-S tranny, for boost people like to use the 5-speed ep3 tranny because of its longer gears works better with boost. You have 2 options on the ecu, Hondata flash pro, and Kpro. If your serious about building and boosting your motor you will need the Kpro.

It takes time and money to do a Kswap. Checkout k20a.org it has answers to most of your questions and parts that you will need.
