my tach is retarded.....
my tach all of a sudden doesn't want to go past 6500 rpm....now my car hesitates at anything over 7000...and when i try to wire my shiftlight the tach goes completely dead...and i also hear my engine/alternator through my speakers...anyone with any ideas on these all help is greatly appreciated....this is on a ls with 404's and a chipped ecu..the car used to rev fine past 8 grand now it is doing this..thanks again for your help...

well i dont know how much help i can be but i will try... you brought up that the tach was giving you some trouble too... it might be how you wired it in... i would suggest checking all those wires... you could have some wires touching that would explain the tach messing up and maybe they are arking and causing you to not be able to rev as well as before... that is my only thought...
