Anyone ever had trouble with their vtec solinoid? I think mine is fucked up. I have a 98 Prelude (5th gen), and when I hit vtec now it feels like the car is retarded. Like it's really jerky. I need to get an idea of how much it is to get it fixed. Need to sell the car asap. TIA.

 

check your oil level.....if it is low there will not be enough oil pressure to hold vtec...it will jerk in and out.

 

if it was ur solenoid it would prob toss a code

Fuck, shit, damnit, @#!%~! Holy piss, it's burning oil like there's no tomorrow. Just changed oil 1k miles ago, and I just put in 2 quarts.
