Ok Im doin a full ferrea valvetrain in my b16 head seats guides etc etc.... I'M lookin at the 6000 series valves vs the competition race valves and im debatin whether or not to spend the extra 100 bucks on the competition... Im shootin for 400ish and 550 ish on a race tune.... Im also pickin up a set of pro1's..... What do yall think

 

buy rev ALOT CHEAPER IN PRICE...and made the same with full treatment like the 6000,but halfthe price and you can buy them local at tompsons or order them here

dang new to me i been useing them since from 2002,never a problem as long as the otor is built right you should be ok..i mean the only valve set i really stay away from is supertech,,but everyone has a story..i have used ferrea in many many i love them but i use rev more for the price.i always brand new ferrea locks on the heads NEVER reuse old locks when useing new valves thats where most go wrong..or they use stock retainers with them...its up to you if ya feel better getting ferrea do they are a great valve set..go with the 6000

I think u can loom and check everyones had a problem or two with everything...there r people on tr that still think king bearings are good.but I know you will never use them again.

 

Yea that's true everywhere I look on forums there's atleast a couple people that's that don't have any luck with parts..... And king bearings hahaha never again even if somebody paid me to use them lo.l...

So all in all the 6000 series will be good for my build?

 

Yup super hardened tip.and high heat treatment will hold up nice.like I said tho buy new keepers if u don't want to pay full price I can get the keepers for 45$

 

Make sure you have the valves first before you take the head to be cut. For reseating...down fall to Teresa they r cut higher and very hard you will get louder chatter...

 

Ok thanks bro for as ll the info...... Wut machine shop do u reccomen....cuz I use godwin singrt and theeir pretty good... I was also thinkin bout takin it to proven power and have them do everythin to the head
