Is there anybody out there that can wire my motor up for me after I put
it in myself. It's a B16a1 being put into a 1990 civic hb DX. What would
the cost be to wire everything up for me.

 

The FIRST thing you would need to do is convert the dx to si ,and then to SiR
Do you have the b16 ecu? Check this website it tells you how to convert your dx to si,after you do this (or whom ever) you run 4 wires,2 to the oil pressure switch,1 to the 2ndary o2,and finally the vtec.............http;//hybrid-perf.org/tech/sohc.html

That was my friend posting I will ask him about the install price. I think he was going to send his wiring harness away to hasport and then get a pre wired one from them for an sir. We were going to take the old motor out and put the b16a in then have someone come and wire it up so it will run. He does not have the money for someone to do the whole swap that is why he wants me to help him put it in.

speaking of rewiring would someone be able to rewire this ls/vtec? let me know i would like to do it asap. if you can.

 

Don't send it to hasport. Like Racin said we can do it. I've done this several times, clean job, soldered/heat shrunk. I'll include plugs at the shock tower for so if the motor ever has to be removed no wires need to be cut. If you are interested tell me and I'll pm you a price much less than Hasport.
