Exclamation 5lug conversion acura integra shakes while braking help!

whats good tr i have a little problem with my 97 acura integra i recently did a type r 5lug conversion everything was fine but now at high speed when i brake the car shakes really bad only the driver side does it what could it be? i could really use your help tr thanks

Check your rotors and brake pads, if your tires are balanced and your suspension is straight most likely your rotors are warped.

make sure there are no severely worn components. ball joints and inner/outer tie rods as well as wheel bearings should be inspected by a well versed mechanic. Chances are its just the rotors, but dont just throw parts at it without checking everything thoroughly. Thats how we waste time, money, and energy. Good luck

I bet its rotors. Jack the front of the car up take your wheels off, look to see if there are hot spots on the rotors. Put the car in neutral spin the rotors if it feels like there is a area that's harder to turn it past most likely its warped. (ghetto run out test) I get a bad vibration when braking around 100+ mph but not during normal driving, I have cheap rotors maybe you do too. Good luck

thanks for all the help guys im going to change both rotors i might as well if im just gonna change one why not do both? lol so hopefully my problem well be fix ill keep you guys updated thanks again

no doubt, if your pads are pretty worn and you can afford to do it might aswell throw the pads in too while your at it. Your brakes will be NEW!
