H22a1 into 1994 Acura Integra GSR Question
Hey TR, I have a 1994 Acura Integra GSR with a Obd1 H22a1 running on a P28 ecu with Hondata. Car is tuned for an ls/vtec setup and the idle is rough. I heard I need a blank chip and retune it for the H22, but not sure. Would it be possible to just replace the ecu with a P13 from an H22 instead of tuning the car? Any help would be awesome! Rep will be given to all great responses.

It's a Hondata s200 also....I need to know by this weekend which route to go. I really just need to know if I unplug the p28 and Hondata and just run the OEM p13 ecu for the H22, will it run right? Not really worried about the power at this moment.

do you have the IACV mounted and hooked up? Do you have a restorbox wired up right? Is it fireing on all 4cly? I know nothing about your car (new or used parts). but if its running ruff check all that, then have it tuned.
Mine had a fucked up idle (not the up and down) just ran ruff. I hooked up
the IACV and adjusted the idle screw to my likeing (look up how todo that adjustment correct) and now im idleing at 900-1000 and runs top notch.

^Ill check it all. As far as I know it's firing on all 4 cylinders. No CEL or anything. Under power the car drives just fine, just when you push in the clutch the idle messes up. Sometimes the car idles fine and then sometimes it doesn't. Where is the restorbox located at?

Like I said I have no idea who put the motor in the car. But whoever did
ot-to know you need to wire the injectors to a resistor box. It should
be located (looking from the front of the car) at the driverside next to
the brake booster. Its a little metal box with rows of fins on it. Who put
the motor in? If you did and your on a LS-V tune. I think you should
have someone with h22 swap knowledge look at it. Neal on here made
my harness for my swap in my car. Started right up. I have a chiped p28
with a street tune. I think you just have to nik pik at it. Thats all I did
to mine.

^Idk who did the swap nor what's in it. I have a for sale thread on here with engine shots if you want to look at them. Idk anybody with H22 knowledge, I'm pretty much the only one here in Gainesville with an H...so I'm screwed.

So there's no way I could just put a p13 in the car and it work? I was also told to download the Hondata software on my lap top and plug it in and set my idle to 850...sound right at all?
