Default Please Help!! New Clutch Issue...

I just put a brand new F1 Stage 2 clutch and chromoly flywheel in my 95 LS... I drove the car up and down the street a few times fine, came back to the drive way and could not get into gear... If I hold the pedal all the way to the floor it will not go into gear. However if I raise the pedal off the floor about an inch it goes into gear as it should... Should I adjust the pedal or do I have other problems?? Thanks for reading!!

Hate to say this but the first problem is that you installed a F1 clutch. I have seen these clutches have the same issues time and time again. Even with new hydraulics.

But it sounds like you could potentially have an internal master cyl leak, air in line, or leak. If you confirmed you have good hydraulics there is nothing more to say.

A clutch stop could help, but that would just be a band aid on your issue.

I would reccomend using a different pressure plate.

Hope this helps Let us know what fixes your issue
