Front Left Wheel Leaking Brake Fluid

Default Front Left Wheel Leaking Brake Fluid

so i have a 97 ek and the front left wheel is leaking brake fluid, the car drags to the left as well... what can i do .. i need the car!!!

replace the caliper or hose, whichever is leaking

it might just be the o ring on the bleeder plug. Id pull it out and replace it, reinstall, bleed, and then clean the wheel off really good and try and see where it may be leaking from if it still is. It cant hurt to try the cheapest fix first....

Caliper is probably seized causing a pull. Take your wheel off and inspect your brakes

i didnt even read the pulling part, lol. yeah, probably a seized caliper...

so just replace the caliper? if thats whats leaking?

yeah, i would. I dont think it would be anymore than 50 dollars, plus the price of brake fluid. Just make sure you bleed it after you replace it. And i would try kinking the brake line with vise grips as close to the caliper as possible.

break fluid is gonna make the paint on your wheels peal, it happened to me when my break line was leaking, GL with the caliper

thanks, i havent had a chance to buy it, but i will buy it tomorrow, replace and bleed and see how that goes.
