Default Car feels chuggy below 3k, and misses when warm sometimes under load

It all started when I went to go pick up a motor near orlando. The car started missing in a cylinder, chunging but not to bad, then over a few minutes it got worse and worse, 5 miles later I have no spark on #4 cylinder. Pulled the injector clip and limped her home on 3. The plug wires were Magstar 8.5mm wires. When I got home with the car running I pulled the plug wire out of #4 and noticed it arcing between the head and wire.

I bought new plug wires and it went away, seemed to run better then ever. A day later and it feels like is running weaker again, not much low end power at all (not the b16's have any ), but a little chuggy under 3 grand. If im in 5th gear, around 50mph or so, and get on the gas, it starts missing and chugging a just a little. But if I go down to 3rd and run her hard there is no problems.

What is this? Bad Ground?

Distributor seems like its on its way out. Take it apart and inspect it.

What would I inspect in the dizzy? The cap and rotor looks ok. Do they sell rebuild kits for them?

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

Im going to have to wait untill this weekend to check it. I'll be doing a leakdown test this weekend too because cylinder 3 was a little weak when I did a compression test.

I have a MSD Blaster coil and wire layin around, but I would need a new cap. Maybe I should run that?

Also im going to sound like a moron but what the hell is the ignitor

Yes, both 7 and 10 are the ignition modules or that is what I am thinking how Honda refers to them.

In the diagram it is the small box and then the larger rounded out box. The small box has two wire going to it. I remember drawing up a diagram for my Civic when I had issues for it. Then my other Civic had issues and Neal Sutton did a wire test and found out my ignitor was bad.

Well rain all weekend kept we away from checking the dizzy.

I am wondering though, my buddy said whenever I get on the gas pretty good, my car looks like a diesel. I asked if it was black or blue, he said black. I remeber a while back my girlfriend said the same thing. What else could I check besides spark that would give the same same syptoms.
