Z6 into Crx Help
I'm swapping a z6 into my rex and keep running into dumb shit. I think I have all the wiring figured out thanks to a few of you that replied to my other thread. Now here is the new problem.
I'm keeping my a6 cable trans instead of converting to the hydro. I pulled both transmissions off both motors tonight and everything looked like it would line right up and bolt onto the z6 block. We had a little trouble getting the trans lined up at first but we eventually got it on and bolted it up. Thought it was good. But the clutch doesnt feel like its engaging.
I did keep the clutch on the z6 that the hydro trans was bolted to. Should I have swapped the a6's clutch to the z6 block? Are they not the same clutch? If anyone could get back with me on this tonight I would appreciate it, I'm hoping i can get this trans on the z6 tonight so I can get the motor back in the car and then figure the wiring out and go!!
Thanks in advance...

88 clutches are the only different ef clutch.......89-91 and all hydro single cam clutches have the same spline count........as long as you have an 89-91 cable trans, then you shouldn't have a problem using the hydro clutch....
