obd0 to obd1 help... plz (I'm new)
I'm swapping a complete z6 into my crx si. I have everything to do the swap except my obd conversion harness or jumper harness. I have some questions I need cleared up before I dump 80 bucks or more on something I didnt need.
I'm really close to just ordering the conversion harness from JDMshit.com.

But I keep reading different places that I need two seperate harnesses to do the entire conversion. I know there are ghetto ways to rig up the obd0 dizzy and injectors and all that but I got a kick ass deal on an entire swap so I want to do it right.
Can I use just the harness from JDMshit or is there more I need? When I get the harness will there be any other work as far as wiring or is it all just plug and go? I'm pretty slow at wiring lol I don't know why but I just cant get it. Ive read about 7 walkthroughs on this swap and I cant wrap my head around the wiring lol. Anyone with any info would be really appreciated. I'm also willing to pay gas money and dinner (I have food stamps) to anyone that wants to come out and walk me through it.
Thanks fellas!!

I am pretty sure you need a dizzy jumper harness as well....
Zerg Industries OBD0 to OBD1 Distributor Jumper Harness | Password JDM
or you can use this diagram and re-pin your dizzy harness and it will look cleaner in the bay:

lol just did a z6 swap in my crx si you will need a jumper harnes for the dizzy obd0 to obd1. and yes the jumper harnes for the ecu also. the vtec wires are going to have to get wired into the ecu jumper harnes. find the pinout for the ecu and see which one is vtec. you can also make it eaiser to jump the ecu for the codes if a check engine light comes on.
Awesome... I wasn't sure if I was reading everything right as far as the second harness was concerned. I appreciate the info from both of you! That diagram still fucks me up... But maybe when I get the harness in front of me I will see what all is going on. Anyone interested in coming out to help out?

Recommend you buy one from someone that actually makes them (Rywire - Online Store) and not someone who has never installed one or knows what they are looking at.
You don't need the distributor jumper, but it makes things easier. You need the OBD1/2 distributor to run the OBD1 ecu. The OBD1 injectors are optional, but if you want to run them you need to eliminate the resistor box by soldering all five wires together at the connector. The extra wires off the harness come with instructions and will aid in the self-explantory walk through on installing the harness.

Local shops stock these jumpers & can perform the conversion.

Thanks for the info guys!
mtber: I have to do everything myself. I don't have money to go to a shop or believe me I would lol. I need my car running, its my DD. I have been sharing my wife's car and she drives me crazy about her car lol. I would just drop the z6 in and get everything together and let a shop deal with the wiring.
