grind off the mushroomed part best u can, get a 3" or so 12mm head bolt, visegrips and a 2lb mini sledge, hold the bolt with the grips and beat the pin out w/bolt never fails gotta hold it strait and hit it square...hope it helps

Exactly what was said before, you need the correct tools before attempting. I've never had a problem with one of these. I believe it is an 8mil punch that you need. That and a good hammer and some heat will definitely help. Just keep working at it.

The people who have said they have never had problems with this pin,havent been doing it for long enough.
