So you want to re-do your fuel system?
These are the required parts for an EK to re-do the fuel system from pump cover to fuel rail. EG will use a banjo for the last step rather than a compression type fitting. GO-AUTOWORKS sells a "kit" that is $155 and it does not include an inline filter! You can make a setup much cheaper on your own! This setup depending on filter choice should be between $130 and $200. Fuel line size is a -6AN and 10ft. is needed. For the ends of the line you want to get (2) straight -6AN hose ends. Now a lot of fuel filters have -8AN male ends on them. Well your fuel line is a -6AN so you will need to get (2) -8AN female to -6AN male reducers. Now some choose to make another line from fuel rail to fuel filter. I prefer to have the filter right off the the rail using a -6AN 90°female to female swivel coupler. I know most fuel rails come with the male fittings and they are -6AN. If not you will need one or if you opt to use a stock fuel rail you need a -6AN male to a (measuring again). Back to the fuel pump side, EK will use a -6AN male to 5/16" tube fitting and EG will use a banjo with a -6AN male end. I believe the banjo bolt is a M12 X 1.25. This might be a little fuzzy and difficult to follow but I will update this to make it more clear. Hopefully others wont have as much thinking and measuring to do as I did since most leave their factory hard line in place. Pictures also coming soon.
