Default A good sohc swap..

Whats a good sohc vtec swap to put into my hatch? Its a 92HB. CX. I wannted a good vtec swap in my car. And go from there with mods. Anyone know what I should get?

a 1.6 sohc vtec swap from a eg coupe ex or a eg si.

well yeah like a 92-95 si/ex or 93-95 del sol si but which one? Can the 96+EX motors work as well. probably cost more though. do it even matter?

D16Z6(92-95 SOHC VTEC) AND D16Y8(96-99 OR 2KSOHC VTEC ) If your gonna go sohc get the z6, but run a y8 intake manifold. Just my 2c
oh yeah if you plan on going NA dont waste your time, boost the hell out of it.

the motors from the del sol and the ex/si are all the same, just get a 92-95 to save yourself a wiring mess...trust me
