Default Civic auto tranny help?

Hey I have a quick question.. The civic I have does go into gear the first 1 minute and after that it won't go to any gear. it would drive for a little bit and then I get stuck in the middle of the road. Lol, It doe's leak from the Top of the tranny near the engine head. How do i check if I have low Tranny fluid? It doesn't go into Reverse, Drive, D2, D3.. \\\

thanks for any inputs.

Are you sure that it's your tranny that's leaked up there? It could very well be a bad head gasket leaking engine oil down the side of the block right there. I currently have a bad head gasket doing that.

And how long has this been happening? Sounds like low tranny fluid to me. There is a dipstick with a yellow handle back there. It will tell you how to check the fluid in your owners manual. Assuming you have one.
