Default Need estimated all-motor 1/4 mi. times

I'm a bit honda-ignorant so bear w/ me here. I've been thinking about getting a honda for daily driver/autox/occasional track duty. I can't decide to either get a 98-00 integra gsr or 99-00 civic si. Can anyone give me some estimates as to what these combos would end up running. (on normal street tires)

00 Si w/: I/H/E, valvetrain (springs, ret., valves.) Cams (ctr or skunk) manifold (skunk or itr.) EDIT: Forgot cam gears too.
I'm guessing high 14s?

00 GSR w/ the same stuff. Mid-14s?

I don't want to go into the motor (i.e high-comp. pistons) but I would like to see atleast 14s all motor. I'm not going to gut the car or consider an engine swap.

All ideas or suggestions are welcome

Craig, it's my dad's and he's giving me one of those 0% financing deals so it's a little hard to pass up

Plus I'm getting real tired of f'in w/ the Cobra. Nothing but a big headache

I've met Phil before, and I believe that car had type-r pistons.

Sweet ride

Ah, I hear ya.

I will only build another Mustang if I am willing to do all of the work myself.

Exactly. Right now I don't have the patience, time or resources to do it myself so I need to find someone to buy it (who does have the time and resources to get the car sorted out)

BTW: Did you sell your silver car?

Thanx...

my 2001 gsr ran 14.4 on one of it's last days... List of what it had:

skunk2 intake
64mm TB
3" CAI
CTR Cams
Full Valvetrain Work
DC 4-2-1
Gutted Cat
Apex-i N1 muffler
Skunk2 ECU P28
Toyo Proxies T1-S (made a nice hookup difference)

Could have done much better with a hondata 2 and some of SS' nice work...
