crx sputters at low RPM
1991 CRX DX, 100% stock D15B2, manual tranny.
New distributor (reman), cap, rotor.
No CEL/Code's.
Car ran fine then suddenly started sputtering under high load or bellow 3000rshared_pm. Rev it up past that and it's like all power returns and it runs fine. But bellow 3000rshared_pm it sputters real bad.
Just replaced the distributor (although remans often suck), cap, and rotor. Ran fine again for ten minutes (let it idle and warm up), then at full temp it started running like crap again.
I'm doing fuel filter, plugs, wires tomorrow. Any other ideas?
I've googled it, seen that it could be TPS, EGR (dx have EGR?), maybe 02 sensor (does it have 1 or 2?).
Thanks.

We just had a jeep in our shop that did the same exact thing. We did a full tune up with all new plugs wires cap etc, and it never fixed it. Ended up being the O2 sensor so that's a definite possibility.

Did the full tune up, almost. Dist/cap/rotor/wires. Fuel filter. Fuel system cleaner, new tank of gas. Runs alot better now, still have a few odd gremlins (lights on when idling causes idle to drop low, and still stutters/bogs at some high load throttle positions), but it made the 200-mile trip to the Florida CRX Meet just fine.
