I recently put in the effort to get my speedo in my EF to work so I bought a cable vss from ugly86integra (great seller btw). Installed it easy and connected my cable to the cluster and sensor and still nothing. Am I missing something?

I was thinking cable, but how do I tell? ..and if its not that then its the cluster correct?

This is my first EF so any help is appreciated

 

Check to make sure the cable is put in correctly at the speed sensor. It can be a pain sometimes. If it is the cable or cluster that's broken, I have both of those parts fs in good working condition

 

cluster cant be bad! it runs by a cable nothing electronical.
first-check that it pluged all the way into the cluster
second-make sure the cable is pined into the VSS sumtimes the cable slips out with the vibration of the engine
third-if its not of the two above its your VSS.

 

Yeah that's true about the cluster. Well I have the speed sensor also if you need that.

 

Thanks for the replies. I will double check the deal in the morning. I do remember the c-clip on the cluster side of the cable is broken, mandatory or no?
