accord wont start when cold
i have a 96 accord lx f22b2, and it has been giving me problems like it will not start when the car sit over night when its cool outside but when it warms up it starts right up with no problems. i can drive the car all day with no problems at all, turn it off and it will start right up. now when it sits over night and get up in the morning to go to work it just turns over and over and over.i replaced the distributor and coil pack on it and still does the same thing. anyone have any idea what could be the problem. help is very appreciated.
Sounds like main relay has cracked solder joints. Resolder them or buy a new one.

i have also saw in the past weak fuel pressure regulators causing a hard, cold start.....+1 on main relay, but correct me if i'm wrong...usually shitty main relays wont work like in the heat of the day, but when cold/cool, works ok...........opposite of your issue....
^Usually yes on Hot temps but problem can also exist on cool mornings. I think resoldering is the quickest way to eliminate wether that is the problem or it is something else.
Symptoms
Problems starting the car, usually after a short run (when the interior is warm), though in bad cases the car may fail to start at any time. A classic time for the problem to occur is at the petrol station, or if you park for a minute to get something from a shop. If the car is parked for a long period, the interior usually has cooled enough for the joint to make contact again, and you won't notice a problem. As the cabin temperature is a major feature of this problem, it might appear worse on cold or rainy days when you have the heater running to clear the windows etc. Extremely cold temperatures can also cause the problem to be more apparent.
The engine will usually fire, run for a split second and then stall, as the remaining fuel under pressure is used up. When you turn the ignition key to position II (ignition on) you should see the PGM-Fi indicator on the dash light up and extinguish. Exactly timed with this lamp, you should hear a click and the fuel pump turn on and off. If you do not hear a click and the fuel pump, then the main relay is likely to be at fault.

it weird, in my case the car wont start in the morning with the cool weather.but once it warms up at around noon car starts right up with no problem. then i can drive the car all day long with no problem. turn the car off and it will start right up. but when it sits over night in the cool weather just wont start in the morning
ok....when it doesnt start in the morning, do you hear your fuel pump even prime up(come on).....when the main relay is working properly....key turned on, check engine light on comes( main relay clicks on)...check engine light goes off(main relay clicks off)...................and the dizzy you installed, oem honda or aftermarket like from discount or autozone??
yea i hear the pump prime up, the check engine light comes and goes off. i put a new distributor on from advance and coil pack and now i also replace the main relay yesterday got up this morning the still the samething does not start just turns over and over and over.
wtf? are you throwing any codes? Do you have a fuel pressure gauge on your rail?
