Not worth the effort in my opinion.
Only worthwhile change would be the crank pulley but then there's the dampner issue. If you can deal without PS and AC, just shave your stock crank pulley and be done with it.

jdm dc sports 4-1 w/ 2.5 inch collector, but, then you got the issue of will you have enough back pressure.
i say if you only got bolt-ons goes comptech.

Would all aftermarket crank pullies have to be balanced once installed?

accessory pullies only. Main crank pulley, as KJ says, needs to be harmonically balanced. Otherwise, engine damage may occur (like m. bearings, shattered oil pumps, etc)

i have comptech header in my si and i love them i wouldnt go with anything else for now. but they are pricey i wouldnt have bought them if i didnt have a lil extra money to spend at the time. what kind of exhaust do you have?
