Default 89 crx si 5speed starts but immediately stops

Hey the engine is a stock d16a6 block with a d16z6 head I've changed both main relays the 7 prong and 4 prong plus i changed the fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator and fuel injector o-rings because injector #1 was leaking fuel and the car has spark and the timing its perfect I've had three of my friends that are mechanics look at it and none of them can tell me whats wrong with it I don't know what else to do?

Could the car be losing power to the distributor? Because the guy before me instead of using an obd0 to obd1 distributor jumper harness he simply spliced the wires together and didnt solder them together.

Try the fuel pump. It might have enough power to start the car, then suddenly die.

My 2 cents

repair the wiring to the distributor......do you have a fuel pressure gauge on the filter?? are you losing fuel pressure or spark?? did you recently put the z6 head on? did it run before this? .....start simple

Yeah the car used to turn on with the stock d16a6 head but it had problems with the fuel back then because i always had to spray some starting fluid to get it running and then it would be fine and im going to try to spray some starting fluid into it today.
