air bag deployed... can i fix my dash?????

Default air bag deployed... can i fix my dash?????

Just wondering if i can fix it or does this mean i have 2 buy a new dash? 92 civic sedan.

i would say your gonna have to find a new dash. but i dont recall if the bag was mounted under the dash on those cars ofr if you could get it separate. got any pics?

well im sure it left that dunt just under the airbag but you can replace the cover its only held on by 4 bolts..but you will need your airbag softwear shit replaced or reset or something like that unless it does not bother you i no it would not me..

this is what it looks like out.its very easy...hell you can find a airbag then just remove the airbag part and use the cover

yeah if that what his looks like you can get the cover for the dash. the sad thing is i believe you have to buy the whole air bag assembly. also a new srs unit you cant clear a deploy code from it.

Why not just remove the deployed air bag and rewrap the cover in new material?

This is what I did in my focus. And I know some companies sell air bag delete paltes/trays, password jdm has a nice expensive carbon one lol.

kindda warps it when the airbag blows,easier to just find one in a junkyard or on here

well i have a ex sedan wich did not come with a air bag but the new dash im getting is the same color and everything just has a airbag that was deployed so im getting it for cheep.
