ok im posting for one of my friends.... we put the motor in the other day... its a 90 crx si with a built gsr the car already had a b series swap in it wen he got it.... it turns over and sounds like it wants to crank but wont at all.... it has a new starter the timeing is straight it has spark and its getting fuel.... any help would be appriciated.... he said money will be thrown to somebody that can fix this problem..... located in the st. pete area

Have you compression tested the engine? Something might not be right with the engine

 

Yep compression or ecu or dizzy!! And just check ur timing again n make sure!!

Yea that too ^^ and check fuses too

 

unscrew the dizzy and move it a little while cranking to see if ur timing is off

 

check your ecu fuse thats probably what it is the car wont start if the fuse is broken

 

so we did a comepression test and its readin 0 across the bored....well come to find out the machine shop didnt reseat the valve like they said they were gonna do

 

You might just need to check and adjust the valves. Same thing happened to my boys head. He got it back without the valves being adjusted and had no compression
