Default obd2 jdm gsr in eg Help

Okay so iv been doing my swap myself and everything was good motor is in, vtec is wired, running on a chipped p28, i converted the obd2 dizzy to obd1 plugs and the alt too. car starts. car starts overheating so i turn it off add more coolant and its fine. 1st drive around the block and everything is good. then the battery dies. speedometer stops working. dont have an rshared_pm gauge yet so i dont know where its idleing but it sounds too high. and when i jump the battery the car is fine for like 5 mins then it starts to die again and when it does i press the gass and it sound like a 2step or misfiring like its not getting any gas or its a fuel cut. and i have to jump it again when i come to a full stop it cuts out at the peddle too. 3rd jump and im driving a little starting to feel the furl cut coming and the radiator starts to leak and spray everywhere. my question is where did i go wrong? alt not charging the battery but then y the fuel cut off feeling. dizzy i wired using the diagram but some of the wires in the online diagram we not there and were other colors. i got a new radiator and battery but havent installed the last radiator also was really old and beatup. some1 please tell me where i went wrong cause or iff u need more info let me know

Sounds like a bad alternator. And if your battery is weak it will cause the car to run like crap and die. Remember its fuel injected it need a power source to run the ecu and injectors. B ut also make sure you have a good ground, as it could be that you missed a ground somwhere being a fresh swap

there is one on the thermostat. also the dizzy wiring is easy, the wires go in the same place as if you took the 1 plug and cut it into 2. if you can understand what that means. the colors are differant during differant years.
