The gsr would work fine, but wouldnt a ls be a better choice for boost due to the fact it has longer gears, and longer gears meaning he has more time in boost?

Wrong. "More time in boost" Nope not really just means the car will be slower than with the correct gsr/b16 type r tranny.

I read the 1st few replies and went hoping someone would correct them so I dont have to. People get so hyped up on long ass gearing. LS gearing is good if your making some serious power. GSR I would say is best all around for boost. I love the shorter gearing like the B16 but for higher HP it will just spin. Pretty sure the short gearing would be fine up to 300WHP before it becomes useless.

ls transmissions are never worth using, unless you open them up and change out some gears. Even then, that's kind of a last resort option... The whole "staying in boost longer" is the biggest myth around and is absolutely incorrect information...
