Hi all I just picked this car up today from a kid out in orlando..

Car will not start.. Doesnt even sound like its firing...

I know to check for fuel and spark...


I havent checked yet cause the rain will not let me...

also some how someone wired in a resitor box for the injectors... now im not sure if the car has been converted to OBD1?? cause I dont think the H22A is OBD2..

I havent checked the ECU yet.. but will get on it tomorrow in the AM..

Rain is killing me right now...

So I was mainly asking where to start looking on diagnosing the no start problem..

check all ur grounds, n like u said wen its not rainin check to c if ur gettnin spark n fuel

 

found this hiding in the car... Cant seem to find any marking for what ECu it is...

 

Well checked for fuel by taking the bolt out of the fuel rail.. Nothing came out.. Primed the key a few times... Still nothing..

Going to check for the main relay and then the fuel pump.. I love having a full parts car.. makes it so much easier...

 

well that sucked.. Dropped the tank cause gas gauge says I have 3 quarters.. Tank is bone dry....

Waste of time..

 

Nevermind CAr is now running!!! Bad ignition coil...

Thank god I have spare parts laying around...
